January 3, 201016 yr Black knives/addy darts should be better than broad bolts as they have low defence. There won't be much difference in killing speed though I should imagine. Maybe take them both and compare xp/hour? If pures use knives on Yaks etc over crossbows I should think they'd be better.
January 4, 201016 yr My friend (who was a pure) spent countless hours training on dust devils and he used knives and nothing else. I personally haven't compared them both but in theory I would use knives. Black or steel would do fine. Why? Dust devils have low def and you will hit constantly on them. You won't hit as high as broad bolts but I think against a monster which such low def the speed will make up for higher hits of a crossbow.
