It should be mentioned in the quest, that when you get Nomad down to below 1/4 hp, he will heal himself back up to almost under half hp, prolonging the fight and he will only do this once.

In addition, when the Nomad clones himself, the last clone to attack is the actual Nomad.

 

Also, while the Nomad is charging his 75 hit attack, it's possible to run through a gap in the bombs and stand behind a pillar to block the attack. You must be very quick at doing this though!

 

Rocktails work fairly well as an alternate to Brews. If you use this method, bring a potion or two to restore prayer.
