skylor12344 Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Well recently when im doing slayer i keep getting tasks that require d'hide and its causing me to go through alot of food even with the bunyip. So what i would like to know is would karils be more worth it for the higher mage defence? or should i mix it and buy a karils skirt(since its the cheaper of the 2) and use blk d'hide top? JoeDaStudd Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Abby specs pray mage. Its about 1.5 p pots per full inventory of 3k+ herbs. Using a macaw massively increases the gp per task which more then pays for the prayer potions.Bloodvelds, without your tanking the mutated ones you really should be having any trouble at all. Take about 5 B2P tabs if you really have issues.Waterfiends, pray range and remember to take swallow whole scrolls. In truth they should be dropping more then enough sharks/lobsters then you'll need. None of this are worth the extra hassle of repairing karils. Remember a better offense means you kill the npc faster reducing possible damage. HexiledRazz Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Only get it if you have the cash. I've had my karil's for 2 years now and always use it. Haven't sold it once. To help clear things up, kairl's is about 20 more mage def then black hides. So you can determine if it's worth it. Hexiled Razz. Player since March 8th, 2005.
