Needummoning tank...

Ok so I recently got a ton of playing time and decided to make a summoning tank.

I am aiming for these stats:

Atk:5

Str:5

Def:75

Hp:40

Summ:87

All 1

Cb:42

Gear:

Helm:Guthan. Torag, Dharok

Amm:Glory(4)

Pl8:Barrows

Legs:Barrows

Shield:DFS

Boots:Rune/Dragon

Gloves:Combat(4)

Wep:Bone Dagger(p++)

 

Using rune mino

Please post a better setup/stats for summoning tank pking. If this is the best there is please just say that :)

Never heard of a summoning tank before to be honest.... =)

But your stats seem good, I suggest getting a cheaper setup to be honest (unless your loaded)

Barrows and DFS is way to expensive and it will hurt you lots when you die (which is inevitable)

Thanks and the setup is expensive because summoning tanks rarely die in pvp and can easily take 3+rangers at once. Also the dfs is for the KO(hits up to 25 with epic defence) and the barrows could be substituted with dragon, but then it's even more expensve sadly :(

Rune minotaur is pretty hit and miss in my view.

Spirit Dagannoth is better for longer fights. Its maul like effect can hit double 14's, add a 19 scrolls and 25 DFS and all but the best PK'ers at your level would be dead.

I would aim for 89 as boil scrolls can hit higher (30 I believe) and 21's from geyser normal attack is better then any of the scrolls of the familiars at lower levels.

No mention of prayer levels so I assume 1, which makes waterbirth harder to negotiate

i forgot the name but i saw a 75 def 95 summon tank, id aim for that if i was you, its pretty impossible to lose a fight , they got charms thro SW i think, not 100 percent exactly how tho as i just tlked to them for a bit in the wildy, get an expensive ring too, onyx ring maybe ( not ring of stone)

 

id say 10 atk 1 str would be better because u just need to poisen them with a bone dagger and the rest is dfs/familliar

SW is one of the way they can get them. Another is to go with friends and LS monsters that drop decent charms. Once place is at Rock Lobs, you just stand there while your friend does all the fighting. But you can try doing it at other places.

I mentioned waterbirth as a lot of pures will give a burster/barrager x amount of gp/hour as a reward as well as holding extra prayer potions.

It seems everytime I was in burstinglobs there was a pure either getting help or asking for help.
