January 16, 201016 yr I've been skilling a bit lately, and i've been wondering which is better for side cash while skilling when no other familiar is needed (be it herblore, fletching, b-staving...):Cat or Magpie? Is there any forager that beats these? Thanks in advance
January 16, 201016 yr I would think magpie or a macaw. Trading in a cat for death runes is more work considering you have to feed the cat and not let it run off.
January 17, 201016 yr Magpie I'd say. 20k-90k profit in 35 minutes is something hard to beat. 1 choice is to use fruitbat with scrolls, works with some tasks. I personally use it often when smithing, doing 1 invy gold bars, then using fruitbat bar and picking papayas, then doing another invy etc. Of course using bat slows down your main task so it's up to you what you prefer.
January 17, 201016 yr Author Are you sure on that? It's just i've been getting only 40-50k an hour using my first magpies... But maybe i've been unlucky.

Thanks in advance Magpie are about 38k so a full inventory (25) will make you 950k. Referral links are not permitted anywhere on the forums. ~ Siobhana
January 17, 201016 yr My worst magpies have given under 20k loot, record is 88k (that one had really a lot "white" stuff). So, on average it tends to be around 40k which is pretty good imo.
January 18, 201016 yr magpie seems to move from 20 - 120k for me for each pouch. Sometimes in the 30 mins it will find like 20 objects, or just like 4-6. Help drive change Canada
