Hi all, my brother needs to complete the Nomad's Requiem quest.

 

His Combat stats are:

 

Hitpoints: 92

Attack: 89

Strength: 93

Defence: 90

Prayer: 80

Ranged: 82

Magic: 88

 

He needs advice on what strategy he can kill him with his stats!

You didn't post his summoning level but have him use either a war tort or a pack-yak (To store extra brews/res/rocktails)

My advice would be to use range with void and ruby bolts (e) aswell as diamond bolts (e) for when he charges.

 

As for the inventory, just bring brews, super restores, and some rocktails if you want, and range potions of course!

 

When he casts ice barrage around you, make sure he heal up completely as for your HP level, he can hit up to a 91!

 

Always pray: Protection from magic, steel skin, eagle eye (When he switches to his rapid melee attack, switch to protection from melee quickly before you take too much damage)

I'm pretty sure he can since range level doesn't affect the ruby bolts special attack. When the ruby bolts use it's special attack, it hits 15% of the monsters HP. Although, It might be dffierent for some monsters such as Nomad and Corp since 15% of Nomad's HP would be 200, and the max hit of ruby bolts special on Nomad is 75. Be aware though, when the ruby special kicks in, you will lose 10% of your current HP.

 

However, the higher your range level, the greater chance you will have of successfully performing the ruby bolt special.

i have some tips:

first, the order of the attacks, his normal attacks hit up to 31, he will put mines around you, if you step on them you'll be hit a 40, after the mines(they will be still there) nomad will charge an attack that hits 75, he will attack you a bit more and then he will clone himself, the 4 clones will hit 5-10 until you attack the real one, he will attack you and then he will freeze you and hit your hp-1(91 in your case), at 1/4 of his hp he will heal to 1/2, then, at 1/4 again he will go berserker and attack you at dart speed with melee.

 

You can avoid the 75 attack by hiding behind a pillar when he charges(id suggest to make some trys with this before the real ones), theres also a very risky strategy, maybe you now the food glitch,for example, hes going to hit the 91 attack, you have 48 hp, as soon as he releases the attack, you eat, he will then hit a 48, and not a 91(i personally didnt do this, it was too risky for me).

 

i used a tortoise with 18 brews, 13 super restores in inv and the rest brews, i poted range before going in(leave the range pot in the bank). i prayed mage the whole battle until he went berzerker, i prayed melee after that(protect prayers)

I used a Bandos GS special and then alternate between ruby and diamond (e) bolts. The diamond ones are crucial to avoid the spec activating on rubies just before he does his HP-1 or 75 hits. I died several times to Nomad when meleeing but killed him with ranging on my first try and I was the same level as you.
