I was wondering how long it takes for your servants to collect something after you put money in. Is it a full 24 hours? Cause I put money in last night and all I need is for them to collect some mahogany so that I can finish the achievement diary and start the Blood Runs Deep quest. I really just want the Balmung for slayer since I got assigned 235 dags the other night, but this is rediculous having to wait so long just to do a quest/slayer task.

Yes it is a full 24 hours before you will get anything. And TBH Balumung isnt worth it for Dagg slayer tasks unless you plan on killing Dks for it. Whip + R Defender is a much better choice

If you already have your kingdom running, you can first refuse to collect your product, then go and switch to whatever you like and ask the advisor to recollect again.
