Training Slayer with Ranged

Hey guys, I'm 75k exp from reaching 99 Strength and maxed melee stats (Attack and Defence are also 99). After maxing melee I want to start ranging all of my tasks.

 

My questions are:

1) Are there any tasks that really shouldn't be ranged, if so how come?

 

2) What is the best equipment for ranging? Void or Armadyl?

 

3)Is it worth selling my Bandos Armour and buying Armadyl now that I won't be meleeing tasks, or should I just keep it?

Hate to just direct you to a guide, but this should be able to answer all your questions about ranged slaying.

I find that there are some tasks that are harder to range and should probably stick to ranging them. Dark Beasts have high defense and tend to take a while to kill even while meleeing, if you can cannon that might help but i can't. Abyssal Demons seem to also be slow with range and i still plan on meleeing them. Mithril Dragons and Skeletal Wyverns seem to take longer to range then melee so i opt out to go for the master method. Other then those i range most of my other tasks.

 

Also, i just use void on all my tasks that i can. If i can't then just using regular D'hides work just as well.
