Curses or Normal Prayer book for fire cape?

If I use curses Ill probably level up to 80 for leech def. Only problem is I have to do 3 quests before I can use curses, but if they help alot I'll do it.

 

Also if anyone can let me borrow an Arma plate that be great =)

Actually I went through the caves once with curses and twice with regular prayer. With the curses on, it seemed to be a tad of a delay in the actual protection whereas when I used prayers, I didn't notice that lag. It COULD potentially be that it was my first time through the caves, but the second time I went through, the only thing I changed was I used prayers instead of curses and I went further in the caves. If you want to get curses, I'd recommend them for slayer or other things, but prayers are actually pretty sufficient for fight caves (especially with your levels). At my levels, I made it all the way to jad without using one brew (I used an EE), so you should make it fine with prayer.

No need to waste effort for just this occasion when normal prayers work just fine. :)
