rangeor Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 So I've decided that getting turmoil and extremes will be my next goal in Runescape. I'll mostly be using them for slayer, armadyl, TD's, and barrows. So for those reasons it seems that extremes would be a little more beneficial. However, extremes will cost me ~250m and turmoil only ~150m. And I have about 2.5m. I'll be using RC and Slayer for most of my cash, and the small TD and Barrows breaks will probably help. Though I won't be going back to armadyl until I have decent defence (currently 87, going for at least 90). Opinions would be nice :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stonewall337 Posted February 6, 2010 Share Posted February 6, 2010 Personally, x range pots are FAR more useful for arma then higher prayer, however, for melee, I'd say get prayer first. For one, the high prayer level is useful in many instances. For another, I *think* that, if I did the math right, the 29% 32% 29% boost is better then piety by a greater amount then the extra levels x pots give over super sets. Another thing, while potted levels drop over time, turmoil will always be at a set level, and for most if not all bosses, and many monsters, that boost will be the full 29% 32% 29%. The percentages are not set in stone, they vary if you aren't maxed melee. But the boost is the same. (EG 10% boost to your str at 50 str compared to 5% boost to str at 99 str.
