mlskid
You're better off not slaying them since in my opinion the elixer drop is very rare...anywayhttp://forum.tip.it/topic/202029-ultimate-guide-to-tormented-monsters-10k-views/Agreed. They are terrible in terms of xp, the money you get from them is debatable. You can get spirit shield drops every about 100 kills or so, and you get planks, and mithril darts(for loaning things out) and some pretty decent herbs. But If you don't already have the prayer pots made, or are just using them cause you don't want to sell them (like me) then i don't think they are worth it. For a beginning to monster hunting I guess they could be considered pretty decent. Ultimately its up to you really. If you want to go for the elixer good luck, i've killed about 600 of them and gotten i think 7 spirit shields, ~3,000 oak planks, and a couple hundred herbs, darts, etc. wasted ~75 pots. Oh and no elixer for me yet. I'm just killing them for fun, and to kinda waste time while things sell in the ge. The worst downside to them is that you have to use a black weapon, and armor. So praying is a MUST. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]
kidcupcake
how much money do you make per hour (without elixers)?
mlskid
how much money do you make per hour (without elixers)?I have made anywhere from around 500k an hour to about 150k. It varies greatly. Oh and if you need blue charms, this is without a doubt one of the best monsters for blue charms. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]
kidcupcake
what do you average in profit? ~300k? per hour? also how much experience can i expect with my stats?
mlskid
what do you average in profit? ~300k? per hour? also how much experience can i expect with my stats?Roughly 300k is a good estimate for gp/hr. Experience will depend on whether or not you use super str, and atts. I personally don't so I only get about 15k-20k xp per hour. In a trip i usually get almost 50k xp.(i start out with 8 p pots and then leave when i have about 2 left or so.) I could probably get a higher gp/hr and xp/hr if i used super sets but personally i am just too lazy to buy and make them myself. With your stats, i'd expect just a tiny bit more xp and gp every hour. not much but probably just a hair bit more. mlskid
Here is my set up that I start out with in Edgeville. Then I run north west till I get to the castle, and use my ring to teleport into where the wraith is.[hide][/hide]Then once there, I have my quick prayers/curses set to defend melee, and i go until I feel like stopping or run out of pots. I usually can stay for about 3 hours or more. Once I am done or whatever I tele with my home teleport, or ardy cape. Then I bank and do my daily activites and go back for more. Here is just an example of what I got in the last hour that I went.[hide][/hide]Hope that I helped you. Good luck if you do decide to tormented wraith hunt. Summoning help:[hide=Wio, lol][/hide]
shawn3090
If you plan on staying there for a while, consider investing in elite black armor. It gives a prayer bonus and can be resold when you are done. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy.
