skylor12344
so i was thinking after 99 def and 90 att i would attempt to solo bandos, but i was wondering if its possible with my stats. I've been watching a lot of videos on soloing Graador and a even tho i've only been to GWD boss 1 time (which was zammy and i ended up dieing after our 3rd kill) i think i have the general idea of what i will be using. Setup:Verac Helm / Neitiznot HelmGlory(cant afford fury at the moment plus glory has a slight pray bonus)Zamorak Cape( MA )Karils Top / Black d'hide topVerac SkirtDragon bootsBarrows GlovesBGS(Borrowed)RoL Invo:Super Defence / Sara BrewsSuper Restores (4:1 ration i believe (brews to restores))Pure Set2 Prayer potionsTerrorbird pouch(also have one summoned and filled with sharks/ rock or Brews/Restores) im now sure if this is correct for a setup as again this is a combo of setups i've seen in diffrent videos for soloing. TeamRealT
You will be able to solo with those stats and setup. Im not sure but i use a 3:1 brew super restore ratio but maybe 4:1 works In other words: We got a ban hammer in varrock mines. It's jackin yo [censor] bots, slappin yo macros up, tryna ban em, so ya'll need to hide yo scripts, hide yo clicks, and hide yo logs cause they bannin errbody up in here. skylor12344
only reason i said 4:1 is because alot of the guides i've looked at uses a 4:1 ration so i thought that was the required, but if 3:1 works ill use that instead.

Raisedbyapes
First few runs I would go in welfarish gear. To make sure you get the feel for it. He can be tricky to solo. But certainly not impossible with our stats. But that is your call. I went in welfare gear. Until I had my routine figured out. And the feel for eating. When needed. Jadinko
Dont wear gear for prayer bonus. You won't stay there long enough to feel the effect. I personally like using whip and defender at 99/99, but anything less use a godsword.Bandos tassets, bandos chestplate and barrows helm (not dha) is best setup. Basically all round range defence bonus and offensive bonus is best. Use rocktails / super restores to heal and pray. While fighting Grarr, use the southern wall to heal. The trick is, to hug the wall, and get him to hug it too. when you need to heal, take about 5 steps in to him. he will then walk backwards, but not be able to attack you. So, when you fall below 70 hp, click 5 steps in front of you, eat rocktail, click another 5 steps, eat rocktail and restart attacking. if done right, you will be 110 hp (+10 whatever your hp level is) and he would of not attacked you while you are eating. Then minions, pray mage, kill mage, pray range, kill range, pray melee, kill melee. if you feel you have taken too long to kill the minions, lure the melee back to south wall with protect melee on and pot up as necessary. this way you will avoid being jumped by grarr. sorry for the essay but i hope this has helped. good luck with hilting! :D Miseryism | Completionist

Bandos pl8/tassets are out of the question because i cant afford either of them. I think i like the idea of using super restores and rocktail for healing/pray restore. Ill be doing a few test trips to attempt the mastery of the "hugging the wall" trick you mentioned to see if i can get it right.
Jadinko
Whats your magic level? if its above 90 i would recommend a barrows top then. and yeah, as soon as you learn how to hug the wall your life will be complete. Whats wrong with rocktails? They heal 23 hp each can raise your hitpoints lvl by 10. pretty much perfect imo + and in conjunction with wall trick means you will be hitting constansly. anything else? la la la
Don't bother with brews/restores.This. It is better to keep your stats potted than to get the extra boost from brews.
