At the very bottom of the guide explaining how to begina few of the basic skills, it still says the air altar is located south of Faldore instead of west of bank in Varrock. Yup...that's it. =P

A few months ago. They did it so it would be more accesable to low levels

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

Vulxai, it was switched to Varrock back when Jagex decided to make Draynor, Lumbridge, and Varrock more friendly to lower levels. So they decided to move the Air Altar just west of Varrock West Bank.

 

And this is understandable, since when one little thing gets changed, it means that many guides end up needing a tweak. By chance, could you post a link of the specific guide, since you weren't all that specific? I'm sure that would end up helping out the Crew a lot.
