Hey I am wishing to ask the members of the tip.it community for help

I am currently coming back to runescape after over a year and well a bit has changed

Currently I wish to train up my Att/Str/Def, Range and also Mage

So I am looking for somewhere to train my melee and range and also mage with a profit

My skills are currently

Att 63

Str 65

Def 54

range 70

mage 70

pray 45

slayer 41

melee:

I used to melee green dragons as i could just take a few prayer pots and stay there till i was full on bones/hides but at my level is there somewhere else better to train?

range:

I used to train at avianses at it was decent exp and also great gold but I don't no [garden tool] wit has changed and also have not been able to find an up to date guide so wondering if someone could tell me if this is viable and if so link me a guide that's good please or if not an alternate cause lately I been at black dragons but I think I might try blues for better exp and I kill them faster

mage:

currently all I no for lvling mage is high alch which I can draw even with that's it is there any mobs that I could make a profit out of?

Additional info:

I am p2p

I have 1.8 mil gold free to buy equip and such

I have a rune x bow black dragon hide set and archer hide with glory ammy and ring of wealth and also 1000 mith bolts equipped

also I have lvl 61 construction

lately I been making cannon balls

if any of you can help me out with this I would be very grateful

Training melee stats should be done with slayer. 8 out of 10 tasks is best to melee.

Green Dragons can be killed, but keep in mind revenants wander the Wilderness nowadays.

I get attacked by a revenant even before I filled my iventory with bones/hides.

Alternative is to use chaos tunnels. But thats multi combat, and the annoying baby black dragons make it harder.

So I say: slayer.

For range nothing has really changed. Aviansies are the best exp/gp rating. Just DON'T (no really) wear a RoW while killing. Addy bars are not rare from them.

You can make quiet some exp and money there. Keep in mind you need a sara item, zammy item, bandos item, and armadyl item.

I go to GWD with: zammy coif, torag platebody, sara chaps, accumulator, rune xbow, broad bolts, granite shield, bandos boots and pendant of armadyl.

I use the pendant to prevent getting attacked by aviansies, so I can pick my own spot to kill.

You can bring a sara praybook or zammy praybook so you can equip yourself with other armour. Just play with it a little bit, and you will come to your own set-up that works.

Probs not the best set-up people will say, but it works great for me. I take little damage, and when I need to heal, I pick up bones and use B2P. And they last LONG.

High alching is still a good way to train up your magic. Some items hold profit, or little loss. You should check out the calculators on the tip.it website to make a bet.

I see you are making cannonballs. You can switch to steel plate and alch them. No profit in there, but some people advice it. I just see this as an alternative.

(dragon med helmets still hold profit, the only reason people buy them is to high alch).

you dont need a bandos item when you cross over with your grapple then again i never use any bandos items when i go to kill avianses

Aviansies are the best exp/gp rating. Just DON'T (no really) wear a RoW while killing. Addy bars are not rare from them.

With the release of the actual mechanics of the RoW, I'm not sure that's a valid explanation. Addy bars are on the main drop table yes, but if you get to the point that you roll on the rare drop table, you wouldn't have gotten any addy bars anyway. The RoW doesn't affect the chances of the rare drop table coming up, just how likely you're going to get something from it.

Given that, you should still probably wear a RoL or archer ring if you have it.

thanks you think i could use zammy coif, blaack dragbody, sara chaps, accumulator, rune xbow, mith or addy bolts, granite shield, snakeskin boots and pendant of armadyl liek that would eb a good set up?

I think it can work well. The granite shield provides good range def.

But with your stats, you can try other armour too. Switch the black dragonhide body with a platebody for instance. I used that too, worked also good. Aviansies have no range def. So hitting them won't be hard.

As I said: play with it, in the long run you can manage to get the best armour set-up that works for you.

Oh, can you tell me why you use mithril or adamanite bolts? You can buy broad bolts on GE. They are lower in price, and hit as good as mithril, little less then addy.

But if you have them, and you feel good, use them ofcourse :)

Oh en when you grapple the wall, you don't need a bandos item. I only wear it to prevent getting attacked when I enter, and when I walk around.

I don't like getting attacked ;)

I could just walk in with full pray and protect from melee till I get across and also I dont use broads cause as my first post said I am lvl 41 slayer, maybe I should go lvl that as I want to lvl defense up a bit anyway.

Thanks for the reply as well

Slayer is really your default answer for melee and perhaps range as well.

As for magic, try Lunars spells or Rock Lobsters, which work very well.

just got my defense to 60 as well as my attack to 65

but what i am looking at to range avianses with while tanking is

head: zamorak coif

neck: ammy of glory

body: granite body

legs: dragon plate skirt (looked at the granite legs they only provide 4 more ranged defense but like 20 or something less attack)

boots: snakeskin

hands: saradomin vamps

ring: ring of life (just in case)

back: ava accumulator

weap: rune cross bow

shield: granite shield

bolts: adamant

gives me stats of

Attack Defence

Stab

10 209

Slash

10 209

Crush

10 202

Magic

-66 10

Range

105 238

taking just b2p tabs in my inv as well as some runes for high alch adn a prayer pot and some food to start with you think i will be able to do fine?

or you think i should get the pendant of armadyl just my thieving is 22 right now
