Coming back from long break. please help

Hello.

 

After a 2 year break from runescape i've decided to play again. So I bought some membership and checked my old account out again.

First thing i noticed is that im gonna need some money. Except for a whip, d med, obsidian cape, some rune armour and 100k i pretty much have a bank full of worthless crap.

This is pretty much what i need help with. i quit right around the pure essence update, and used to make all my money runecrafting nats through the abyss. Now essence is very expensive and natures are very cheap.

so what should i do? Below is a pic of my stats.

any other advice on things that i should do/check out/whatever because they are new/cool/useful/whatever is very much appreciated as well.

Kill green drags in the wild.

 

Seriously, this is the only money maker worth bothering with at low- mid levels

 

Look at the price of dragon bones and green d'hides. You'll make a fortune.

 

A more serious thing you'll want to ask is about everything that has changed since you left, I'm rubbish at judging things by times, so if you could say the last "Big" update you remember, I should be able to advise you better =)

Well, let me just say this, Summoning is very useful (also my favorite skill :wink: )

 

How to train it:

• Finish the quest, Wolf Whistle
  
• Buy a lot of Spirit Shards and Pouches
  
• Kill monsters to gain charms (gold, green, crimson and blue)
  
• Bring the shards, pouches, charms and secondary ingredients to a summoning obelisk to make familiar pouches.
  

 

Popular ways to gather charms are - Slayer, Waterfiends, Bursting Rock Lobsters [exspensive].

Once you have 57 Summoning you can make Spirit Graahks and can use them to make natures once again; this is the fastest Nature crafting method available. You can find guides on how to do this by searching 'Graahking natures' in Google or YouTube.

Well, the last big update was the GE i think, somewhere around there. Obviously millions of things have changed since then. I still remember running back from the edgeville bank with a poisoned d dagger to spec abyss pkers purely out of spite...... killed a few of em too when i caught them off guard :twisted:

but seriously? green dragons? ill try that.

For making money I would recomeend farming until you get a decent level and then doing herb runs at all patches and while waiting kill green dragons. Great money and I love farming. Summoning is possibly the most useful skill in the game and the best cheap way to get charms is through slayer. If your slaying drop the dragon med for a black mask and before you do that do smoking kills quest to unlock slayer points per task. These are very useful. For cool things look at the achievment diaries which offer som cool rewards. Also do the circus for Mage And range exp. And the penguin hide and seek for good experience both once a week.
