bonus_malus
Ive been playing RS for 2 month now and what im missing is the abbility to dye other clothes than capes. E.g. I'd realy like to walk around in orange monks robes (pretending to be a bhudist monk). Other clothing issues i have are: 1. Instead of a dark wizzard hat i'd like to have a dark wizzard hood (like the dark wizzards themselves). 2. Im missing a hood matching the monks robes. Would be a nice extra. That my two cents worth. Toxicologist
Firstly, monks aren't supposed to wear hoods... why do you think they shave their heads? Supposingly, it's to keep your sensory organs clear, so you can "see" things clearly in a mental way. A hood completely undermines that idea... plus hoods are normally associated with darkness, and monks aren't that (chaos monks are chaos, not darkness... chaos can be light you know, like fire). A like the part about dark wizard hood though... seriously, why do they drop hats when they wear hoods? =/ But won't that make dark wizard robes look a lot like Ahrim's robes? Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~
bonus_malus
Sorry dont now about Ahrim's robes. I'm no member. Being bold myself, I wouldn't mind a hood once in a while. A freezing wind on your skin isn't always pleasant. Still would like to be able to dye the stuff. Shame that not possibe Semper in excremento, sole profundum qui variat. Barihawk
But won't that make dark wizard robes look a lot like Ahrim's robes? Ahrim's robes have a mail on them. Its fairly easy to tell the difference. I want hoods to match all of the robes. At least match the Fremmenik Cloaks with hoods. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
mageoftheage2
as a matter of fact monks did wear hoods but not that often and i was thinking of posting this same thing.-a few aspects*
AThousandLies
There are a few problems with this. This has been discussed many times before. Jagex will never release the ability to dye clothing because of all the different types of clothing that have different abilities. It'd increase scamming immensely. MechanicalKarasu
I don't think it would be a good idea to have Dark Wizard hoods. I can see the scamming now. Someone offers Ahrim's, and switches it with a Dark Wizard set. Trust me, they would look enough alike. People switched rock hammers with granite mauls when they first came out, a lot of people were scammed -- and trust me, rock hammers look nothing like mauls.
