Sunlit Rain

Well my last photographs weren't a success and I reverted back to digital art for a while, but today it was raining in the sun and I saw something that looked amazing, so I pointed my camera and clicked a few times....

I used a Sony HDR-CX520V (yeah, a video camera) to take this photo.

What do you think of the image quality?

The image quality is fine! Once you start shooting in lowlight, the noise will over power it. Video Cameras have smallish sensors, not adapted for lowlit photos really.

I have to say I really like this. The colors work really well, I'm just not a big fan of that kind of generic composition with the leaves...

Yeah I'm not really a fan of the whole leaf thing, but it still works quite nicely.

So... do you not like the amount/placement of leaves, the colour, the type of leaves, or just that there are any leaves there at all?

 

I'm going to sleep now so I probably won't read any replies for a few hours.
