Summon newbie needs charm advice!

Hello!

 

I have been neglecting training summoning for a VERY long time, and its at a pitiful level 4 at the moment. I really want to get it much higher, but i have a few questions as to how i should collect charms.

 

I currently have about 1400 crimsons, 300 blues and 900 gold charms banked, but i want to get 89 summon (dont ask my why 89 and not just 88, i just think the geyser titan is really cool). As my current level is 4, i realise i have an awful lot of charms to collect.

 

What im unsure of is...

 

How many charms (specificly crimsons) would i need?

 

How much would it cost to obtain these charms using ice burst at rock lobsters?

 

What other potential methods are there for collecting these charms? (i dont really want to do slayer, i keep getting assigned annoying tasks :( )

 

Im sorry if i should be able to work all this out myself. I have tried, and failed due to lack of summoning experience (what pouches to make at what level, etc).

I highly recommend you ramp up your level a bit via other means before spending any/many charms. Penguins/ToG are definitely good options.

 

Lower level familiars give very little XP per charm; it's pretty much a waste to use your precious charms when you could be using them at later levels.

 

I used a grand total of 10 charms making miscellaneous familiars for quests/random uses getting to level 62, ToGing and using penguin points for all the rest of the XP. Once the bonus weekend came along, I used 1k crims, golds, and greens to get to 75 summoning :thumbsup:

I was actually planning on using ToG on my summoning. Using all my penguins/lamps on it seems like a decent idea too :mrgreen:
