Aviansie Advice

Featured Replies

Well I've gone through tons of guides and other threads and now I've finally started an aviansie run. I just need a few extra tips.

Relevant Stats:

82 HP

86 Ranged

78 Def

75 Pray

75 Summon

Current Gear:

Neit

Glory

Sara D'hide body

Torag Legs

Zammy vambs

Archer ring (i)

Snakeskin

Accumulator

Broad Bolts

Spirit Shield

Invent:

EE

Fire/Mud Staff (Alchs and B2P)

Nats

1. How does this set-up look? Armadyl helms are dropping; would it be worth it to pick one up? On the topic of God protection, are they even worth bringing? I'm killing them on the far west side of the the dungeon and the only non-armadyl monsters that could aggro on me are ogres and werewolves, and I can easily avoid those.

2. Could I also kill efficiently with lower defence? Maybe swap my spirit shield for a zammy book and my Torag legs with some more d'hide. Could I handle the dungeon if I had void and added a bunyip to my inventory?

3. Is it worth it to kill them in the eyrie? Just panning over my camera shows that there's considerably fewer people there, but they're higher level. I also hear that higher level aviansies have a higher bar/rune dagger drop rate.

4. Lastly, how many kills/profit can I expect per hour?

Thanks in advance everyone

ditch the BTP altogether and just bring bunyips, switch out the spirit shield for obby and grab an arma helm kill them in the eyrie near the boss door entrance, theres 3-4 low level ones there.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Buy an armadyl helm and use a glory (or if you can, fury) so you don't need an armadyl pendant. Ditch the spirit shield and use granite or obsidian, they've got better range defence for a comparable price. Absolutely use bunyips regardless of set up. Your defense is too low to use void without using b2p, you need 90 def for that. IMO void is not worthing using until then. There is a spawn of 79 and a 73 just north of it right inside the eyrie, it's what I use, since it is less crowded. Plus in the eyrie there are no saradomin guys so you can just barrows gloves and a zamorak top. I myself hate b2p and refuse to use it so at your levels I used guthan's helm and skirt with arma (or dhide) top and unholy book, then equipped the spear and body to kill bandos minions to heal. Downside to this is that you can not use it in the eyrie as there isn't much suitable to heal on. If you've got any more questions feel free to pm me, I've gotten over 17m range xp from em and would be glad to hep .

That sounds good. I'll definitely rework my setup for my next run.

dont get rid of b2p, even with bunyips. they are incredibly useful even with another healer. there are some cases when you will take alot more damage than normal and the bunyip cant keep up.

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

Well I replaced my fire staff with a lava one and dropped my mud. Since the aviansies drop a good number of waters I can still do B2P luckily.
