Im close to 99 fishing and figured itd be useful to actually be able to cook some of my rocktails for combat training etc. I currently have 80 cooking. I want to know a easy way to get 99 cooking. I once heard some guy say it cost him 4 mill. Is that possible? i Know 99 cooking is kinda noobish but itll compliment my 99 fishing nicely.

This is a nice page to use to figure out how much gp/xp everything costs. Currently prices are a little out of sync because of the bonus xp weekend right now. But after it's done, prices will turn to your favor, so you might want to buy some raw fish in a few days if you want to buy them for your levels.

 

You'll also want a combination of low cost/profit as well as decent xp/hour. Like, I would never cook anything below lobsters at 80. And would probably do mostly Monkfish until 94, for the most part, depending on the gp/xp at the time.

when i did cook like a month or 2 ago it was actualyl profiting, well atleast breaking even cuase i have a habit of buying max/selling lowest.

 

I just did swordies till 94? till you no longer burnt sharks. Goes by very very quickly if u have a season or 2 to watch on dvd or soemthing :D

 

was gonna post a pic of my my computer was set up but apparently a big chunk of my screenshots has gone missing when i changed computers D: only just found that out, fml. lol

99 cooking with 4 mil is possible as i've done it. This was my method(given i wa 5 lvls higher than you are currently however).

 

85-92 = swordies

92-94 = monks

94-99 = sharks

 

at the time however cooked sharks were more than raw was so i managed to make around 750k from 94-99 xD not sure if its a loss or gain atm.

Always use the Rogue's Den for cooking.

 

If you want really fast xp, do double click cooking like I did.

and while you're at it...don't forget those cooking gauntlets...I used cooking gauntlets+chef's guild bank (needs completion of entire varr diary)...and found it realllllly quick...lol

I did monkfish from 80-99

 

Used Cooks Guild range (need hard varrock diary done) and cooking gauntlets

 

Sometimes I made a profit, depending on prices (buy raw, sell cooked)

 

I was getting just under 200k xp per hour
