Hey guys i made a similar post like this a while ago but no one replied =(

 

Anyways I'm in the proccess of making my second ever full Runescape Music Video.

 

The song is -Never Take Us Alive by Madina Lake-

 

The Third Version will come soon.

I actually think that this is a really good video tbf. The effects are awesome etc and I'd certainly be willing to watch it again. However because I am a metal fan and follow the gospel of metal hammer to ima afraid I have to say:

 

Madina Lake effing suck

 

and

 

Madina Lake are emo and they effing suck

 

 

However 10/10 for the effects <3: 0/10 for song choice ;)

 

but hey it's your video, I'm just sayin.

Too many effects imo and everyone will complain about the song

Just Rate and Criticize based on Effects and Quality please =D !

Felt the video needed a theme (apart from bridges), its cool that you've got a fletching cape but that isn't relevant to the plot of the song.

 

Also there seems to be a lot of two on bridges or next to bridges, or by log balances. Also it's too short to be a proper video you should be looking at LEAST 2:30

 

The outtro with the moon is very cool though, maybe you could link it some how to the fountains (that you've filtered red, I assume to look like blood,) basically you need the video to tell a story independently of the song, as an exercise try turning the volume off and if see if you can still understand what's going on.

Dude I don't think you really know what you're talking about...

 

1) The bridge scene is the opening.... that when the titles show up and the starter music is. ;)

2) This is a PREVIEW as i stated in caps lock on my first post :x

3) The fountain is full of Hearts..... anyone can understand that tbh :huh:

4) Rsmv's don't necessarily need a storyline. Very rarely do they have an actual plot in contrast with the song as it then confuses the public. :shock:

5) I am using Sony Vegas 9, practically the best software on the Market :^_^:

You've asked on a public forum for opinions about your RSMV I make suggestions instead of "lol its crap" or ignoring like any of the other 140 people that have viewed this thread and you tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.

 

Firstly the bridges everywhere at :14 to :16, :22 to :24 and at :33 to :35.

 

Still think you should of waited until you had finished your video before publishing,

 

After freeze framing I can now see you have layered a picture of hearts over the fountains but before you pointed it out I didn't recognise it and the imagery is still a little confused, hearts still pump blood.

 

I'd argue differently, arguably the greatest music video ever was Michael Jackson's Thriller (regardless of what you think of his bizarre private life) The video was great partly because of the choreography but mostly because it stood on its own as a video telling a story (zombies) separately but supportively of the music.

 

Having $600 software doesn't make you Michel Gondry, having all the tools some times can be counter productive to the creative process.

No no i didnt mean to say it in an offensive way :)

 

1) The bridges are obviously intentional... its just how i decided to make the opening

2) I cant make the heart scene any slower as the words are too short in time

3) I love Micheal Jackson. I dont care about his private life. But i simply dont think incorporating a plot into my story will improve its quality from the perspective of the average youtube audience.

4) Im pretty sure making a preview is much better than releasing the whole thing and realising no one liked it

5) I do not have Sony Vegas PRO... its just useless for an rsmv. I have movie studio 9 which is very very similar and costs only 70$
