March 25, 201016 yr Ok, usually I am ALLWAYS giving help to people whp need it, but I need some here. Can anybody tell me, on average, about how long it will take for 99 Fishing, ON MONKS ONLY from Level 63? I AM NOT looking for a guide, but an answer to the question! March 25, 201016 yr Roughly 250-275 hours, if my calculations are correct. Might be less with an Ibis/Lobster or some other fancy exp boosters, but with just a net, it should be somewhere around 250-275 hours. ~~~The Harpy List~~~Harpy Facts~~~It's Super Effective~~~The Beginning~~~Harpy Therapy Center~~~Alg~~~Jedi Harpy~~~Rohirrim~~~Attenuation~~~

March 25, 201016 yr I wrote up a comprehensive Fishing guide recently and my tested numbers were 265 monkfish per hour at level 62, 285/hr at level 80 and 290 at level 90. That assumes use of standard fishing familiars (which do help). That works out to around 370 hours. March 25, 201016 yr Qeltar is very accurate so go with his figures, I would say do monkfish till you can do rocktail to maximize on profit made from 99 fishing. Rocktail are by far better than monks when you reach that level.

March 25, 201016 yr Some people think about doing Cavefish too. I have tried them and have found the exp/hr to rival that of monks, sometimes coming higher, sometimes lower, depending how lucky you are with rock creatures and stuff. It may seem longer but it's less fish to catch per level? Also the gp compared to the monkfish is much better. So for a roughly the same exp rate and good gp go for it if you feel like it. But yea, Qeltar is good with figures so that's your monkfish hours sorted. However, bladewing is correct in saying Barbarian fishing is the quickest and best method reaching ~55K/hr I hear. Then again as Lowc says - monkfish till rockfish will help max gp. But then you could Monkfish till Cave till Rock and max gp even more! :D Your choice. Happy fishing. Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

Good point on the cavefish, they are similar to monkfish rates but I preferred monkfish to them. Just personal preference though, I'd say the cavefish are quite abit more gp/hr compared to monkfish. Best option would be monkfish till 85, cave fish till 90, rocktail till 99 and further if your like me. But do which fish you can stand or else you'll be choosing other things to do than fish lol.
