Alright, I finished Throne of Miscellenia and Royal Trouble the other day. I hear 10 herb and 5 fish is the best, can anyone confirm this? And when do your subjects take the money out of the coffers? 24 hours after putting it in? Midnight GMT?

I've been using that same setup (10 herb/5 fish) for the past few weeks.Due to the prices this seems to be the best setup.Yes, they take the money 24 hours after you set it.

I have a Miscellania resource mini-guide on my site that accurately computes the current values of all of the Miscellania options based on a large amount of compiled data. It takes into account regular and "bonus" items and is updated regularly.

 

Herbs are still the most profitable option, followed by maples.

10 herbs, the either 5 maples or Fish

 

fish are the 100% for sure profit, maples gives you nests, which aren't always better then fish, but one good seed makes it much better.

 

And it's 24 hours after you put money in. This does not mean it will reset the timer if you add money later though, only if you add money when you have 0 in the coffers
