I don't know if there's a limit to how many frog tokens a single character can have. It is not entirely pointless if you think about it. There's always the possibilty that you will die (say, fighting a Tree Spirt or a River Troll) and lose your costume; in that case, the extra token can come in quite handy. If you decide to change your character's gender, the outfit will change as well, meaning that if you're female, your princess outfit will automatically be replaced with a prince suit, and vice versa... I personally haven't got any frog events, I'm not very sure why, but I'm sure I m not the only one.
