Are they worth getting for the 1k summon exp ea or do they take alot of time to gather?

You get a lot of nice rewards in the process, but purely from the perspective of summoning, I believe you're better off spending the time farming charms at some place like waterfiends.

Yeah in terms of training summoning effectively you basically ignore any pouch that uses only 1 shard (as they give crud xp) plus all pouches that use special charms as seconds as they take forever to get compared to other seconds and you've already taken forever gathering regular charms

Obsidian charms are a pretty notable exception, since you get get them pretty quickly, and some free tokkul alongside.

Think hundreds per hour rather than ten or fewer.
