Moss Titans

Featured Replies

I'm raising summoning, just cuz I can. :P I'm at 76 right now, and it's about 1400 crimson charms to 79. So I'm wondering if making Moss Titan pouches and scrolls are worth it. I would use them for slayer. Or is it maybe better for me to save my blue charms for higher levels?

EDIT: Moss TITANS, not giants. xD

They're worth making if you are training summoning. If you're not training summoning then i would just buy the pouches. There are a few chances that making pouches/scrolls are better then buying them, such as yak pouches and scrolls.

Also Moss titans are probably the best blue you can make at those levels until you can make Lava Titans or Geyser Titans.

It might not be worth waiting til Geysers, actually. Say you have 1,000 blues.

Moss Titans: 695,200 xp, 5,283k loss

Geyser Titans: 783,200 xp, 8,145k loss

To make up the extra xp, you'll need to gather and make 235 crimsons into swamp titans. That'll cost you a 572k loss, and will take you about 2.4 hours of work.

Moss titans + Swamp titans: 783,200 xp, 5,855k loss, 2.4 extra hours.

Geyser titans: 783,200 xp, 8,145k loss

So using geysers will save 2.4 hours at the cost of 2290k. If you can make 950k an hour geysers are better.

Plus if you wait til geysers, you'll have to make fewer swamp titans which are kind of expensive right now.

Thanks for the answers guys. Would it be worth it at all to make say 20 or so pouches once I get to 79, just to use for slayer? And buy the scrolls? Or are there better options for slayer?

Just use a bunyip? I can't imagine any place where you'd need that mcuh healing during slayer. If you do need it, though, buy them from GE.

there good for multi cb tasks, and yet Id just buy through the GE

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Ah, when I was that level I was using a hydra.

I would say save them until 89, but using them on Moss Giants isn't a bad way to go either. It's not like before when using them on, say, Mith Minotaurs, where it was a waste.

Okay, thanks. Sounds like, in general, I should skip the Moss Titans. :P Thanks for all the replies!
