Since its in f2p world then (eep) make it f2p.

 

 

 

Basically, you find the auction keeper which is upstairs and talk to him about putting an item up for auction (right-click option AUCTION) and you will be asked to fill out a short form:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Starting Price Choose between 1 to 100000000 gp. (up to 1 bill)

 

 

 

Reserve The amount the object MUST sell for (otherwise it becomes unsold)

 

 

 

Time of Sale How long its up for bids from the moment you click Sell. (From 10 mins to 10 Days)

 

 

 

Auto-Buy(?) Set a price for an automatic purchase, choose between 1 to X gp.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you click SELL you will be given a 'magic scroll' whereby every bid you get is updated on it and you can see what it is at anytime. You can also click CANCEL at anytime but you must return to the auction keeper to get your item returned or GP if it got sold.

 

 

 

NOTE: So newbs dont cram up the house, any item that can be bought at a general store will NOT be accepted.

 

 

 

The auction house has a limit of 100 items at once. 1 per person at 1 time. Different servers have the different items but you can collect your item/GP from any server.

Its sort of cool... Though we have forums like the official ones (even these ones) where we can already have auctions to sell items... Your idea is basically a general store that gives more money :? And 100 items at a time isnt enough, seeing as if you can set an item at 1 bil (which nobody would ever buy), then that item is more or less there until the auction is over. (Im sure more then one person would act foolish and set their reserve at 1 bil)...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Would this auction house be wiped with every update, like all shops in RuneScape?

its a really good idea, but wat if a noob really needs 2 sell something 4 money? but i can understand if its a bowl or like a wooden shield

The only matter I have with the idea, is I fear it'd be clogged with nooby items. especially if it's in Falador. That's why I think maybe there should be one or more auction houses in more higher level areas, like Shilo Village, or maybe even just Yanille!
