Kalafai
Well, topping up some of my magic training, and figure I might as well burst the magic portal at pest control with my master wand/ staff of light (a couple levels short of the latter, the former will be had in short order) on my way to getting my void gear (as everyone loves when you take out the single worst portal single handedly). So I got some bids in the GE for a couple sets (yes, I know it's hard to get that way, but gonna be keeping my bids current for a few weeks to see), and was wondering if the time spent getting them charged with Fist of Guthix tokens would be worth the time over just crafting natures/selling to buy proper runes at 60-something runecrafting. Thoughts on cost effectiveness?
Bladewing
Why would you need more than one set? :-? How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
brunokiller
The magic xp is halved in pest control, don't bother. They did it because melee doesn't require runes or arrows. My blog
Kalafai
Simple, I need more than one set in order to keep them charged twice as long. It may be halved, but still will be hitting 5+ things a shot if the portal isn't fully guarded.
anonymouse_
It's still a waste. You'd be better off bursting rock lobs and getting something out of it, in addition to better exp.
Aiel
It's still a waste. You'd be better off bursting rock lobs and getting something out of it, in addition to better exp.Or bursting in soul wars...and yes battlerobes are worth it especially when comboed with SOL DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Sir_Squab
Not with magic. Much more effective things to do with magic then PC, especially since your exp is halved. Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them meBuying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupineThe only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it. Poignant Purple to Lokie's Ravishing Red and Alg's Brilliant Blue.
anonymouse_
Void gear isn't getting something out of it?No, it's not worth wasting charges on your robes at PC. Use them elsewhere where you'll get much more exp out of them. 300 points still takes ~2hrs to get, and that's if you're fast.
