An Idea for a New Runescape Mini-Game: The Numbers Game ...

Featured Replies

... or as we say today, "A Lottery".

People submit lottery numbers once a week and on a set day (or days) of the week, the numbers would be announced and winnings distributed. Each ticket would cost 1000gp.

In each town, at the store, you could click on some item that would allow you to buy your ticket for the week. The Winning Numbers and Winners could be posted in the same manner as the Game Updates we get now.

In this manner, some people who are not good at making money could, at least, have a possibility of winning some gold.

Whatcha thing about this idea?

sweet! we could teach the pple of runescape the glories of gambling and spending their entire life savings on mostly useless tickets.

lol, srry dont mean to flame im just messin with ya.

actually i think its a worth while idea.

Lots of Runescape players are still rather young... you think it is a good idea to teach young children how to gamble? Grown ups won't like that at all...

Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims.

I think that would make the games room more popular.

Lol, well firstly; it isn't her suggestion in the first place. Secondly... I don't know, what else? Oh wells.

As for this idea i think its a great idea, worthwhile anyway, only make the jackpot the same as a real lottery, made up from the money put on tickets. Maybe take out like 5% to reduce the money thats floating around a bit, but it'd be cool to do. And you can always go back and check the current jackpot and stuff, maybe make the ticket vendor be in every bank. But dont put any extra money into runescape, i think it should all be funded by the money spent on it.
