I'm asking this, because I don't see how I can accumulate (as an example) 200m worth of junk items, without spending 200m on them in the first place, or spending hours upon hours farming for items from mobs.

 

Can anyone give me some tips on cheap (or free) alternatives? How do you stockpile junk when you're planning on selling something?

The only feasable way to get lots of junk is to drive up the price of an item on the ge. Look at the 180 day graph of v flails for example.

This is your only real bet if you need 200M worth of junk. If you need say, 10M or less, Zammy GWD or fletching or Slayer(very slow)

No items are junk items.

 

I guarantee, the amount you make from getting junk items and doing an uneven trade is not worth the time/money it takes to get them.

 

You would make a lot more money selling/buying the item at GE price and do normal money making to make the difference, its much faster.

 

Of course, if you need fletching exp, go ahead and do fletching for junk making.

Buy with cash a rising item like an onyx stone or wergali unfinished potions with junk. Now you can use that junk to sell whatever it is you have, and you can make a good profit with the rising items.
