Help with my death?

Well.... i was killing green dragons with lots of armour on and i happened to press the back button on my browser (dont ask how but it actually makes sense) So due to this, i died.

What i question, is how in the world did i remain with a rune platebody thats worth 70k when i was wearing dragon boots that are 500k???? Also my obby cape is 100k and worth more then d plate. So i question again, how is this possible! This really ticks me off... As i know, the rule is that you keep your 3 most valuable items. No?

so please explain cuz im kinda annoyed at runescape right now.

It goes off the item's alch price IIRC, not the GE price.

 

Sorry you lost your stuff. You can always use the "Items Kept On Death" button in the equipment menu to see what you'll keep and what you won't if you get confused.

Now i question, how does that make sense!? They should fix that cuz it's a pretty dumb rule. I don't really mind me losing my items, it's not a huge problem so it's all good but thanks a lot for clarifying this. :)

Their stated reason for keeping it this way is so that you can always be sure of what you will keep if you die. Otherwise, the items you keep could change when you least expect it and you end up losing what you expected to keep.

It's better to make the mistake now than at, say, Arma when the rune pl8 you pick up protects over your Arma pl8 and you end up losting 17mil right off the bat.
