April 17, 201016 yr I need blue charms for summoning and I was wondering if there are certain monsters that drop more than normal. If not, what would be a good monster for charms in general? STATS[hide][/hide]
April 17, 201016 yr Crimsons = Dust Devils (once u hit 65 slayer as i see ur 1 lvl off now) or Cockroach soldiers or you can try Greater Demons (both a good crimson and gold charm drop rate). You could try waterfiends but with your stats they would be extremely hard. Gold = Fire Giants or Hellhounds (both have a VERY high gold charm drop rate) Green = Not worth it really dont hunrt for them just pick them up as you gather other charms Blue = Armored Zombies or Gargoyals ( once your 75 slayer). P.S also you can try Bork once a day for a good chunk of charms and slight slayer xp P.S.S you can also just train slayer and collect charms while getting cb,slayer, and hp xp all at once.
April 17, 201016 yr It is pointless to "hunt" for other charms. But it still helps if you collect them as well as the one you're hunting, which should be crimsons. As for which to kill, refer to what skylor listed. I myself did slay and i have the charms for 98 summoning from getting 99 slayer, and can get 99 after slaying some more. April 17, 201016 yr As a nitpick, gargoyles are 75 slayer, not 70. I agree that Slayer is a good source of charms -- I've rarely hunted for charms outside of slayer and I have ~92 summoning banked with 90 slayer (bonus xp weekend from 74-89, summoning came out when I was already ~80 slayer) If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

I do also agree on the slayer for charms as well as thats what im currently doing (84 slayer and i have around 89 summon banked).
April 17, 201016 yr There's no really efficient way to farm blues. If you just want exp, go for crimsons.If you really want blues for some reason, try wallasalkis. Disclaimer: The above is probably inaccurate.
