Championfurydelta123
approximately how much runes lets say does a staff of light save over the period of 1k casts of ice bursts? can it autocast ice burst? and lastly does the market of the staff of light look like its going to keep crashing? Low C
I believe its 1/8 saved so you would save 125 casts. I'm not completely sure on that number but I believe 6-7m is a good price for the staff.

Grimy_Bunyip
k ty imma wait 1 more day.... btw the tome of frost hmmm worth it while lob bursting?depends on how much you enjoy dungeoneeringeven if you wait to use penguins/tears of guthix to get your prestige up before dungeoneering for tokens, it's gonna take you a while.ask yourself if 30+ hours of dungeoneering is worth saving yourself ~100k-150k gp per hour of bursting. probably not if you hate dungeoneeringprobably is if you love it. Obtaurian
I will never sell my SoL. I would consider it to be essential if you're going to be doing any serious combat magic. To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Low C
He's trying to explain it's so good you wont want to sell it. I just bought one for 6.9m and it took awhile to buy at max. If you want one i'd suggest acting quickly before people realize thats cheap for the best staff in the game.

Robert_R
IMO staff of light is the only option for combat maging any longer then about an hour. It's the highest hitting staff(chaotic staff has the same bonus now I think though) and saves runes. It's worth it, it saves some cash and you can just sell it back when you're done with it. Unless it crashes horribly for some reason(I really don't think it will go any lower) you won't lose money buying it if you plan on using it for maging something for an extended period of time.
