CS:source servers

I used to play gungame and scoutsknives and I had found a couple great servers, but I'm trying to get back into the game and all the ones I've played are terrible.

 

Real gun game is where you can only advance 1 level per round with a gun, then you have to advance through knife kills or continue using the same gun. None of this instant respawn crap, or ruining good original maps like with aimshottyv2 where they might as well use an open room.

 

It's also hard to find a scoutsknives map where the admins haven't messed with the gravity.

 

Does anyone know a decent server?

Yeah so many of the servers at the moment have instant respawn. At the moment i'm having fun on gunggame elimination servers, where if your killer dies, you get respawned. It speeds the game up but isn't as chaos filled as instant respawn.

 

 

 

83.142.230.69:27015 London based Gungame. It has low gravity. It's often very busy, and full of very good players. It is reversed gun game however.

I had a look, seems nobody plays in my time zone on those + the ping is a bit high. (2-300) I found an Australian one called dirty scrimmages or something. Elimination and decent players, still not quite as good as the old ausgamers server :(

I stopped playing CS:S and DoD:S Because just about every server started enforcing sv_pure which ruins my ability to use custom models. :(

I still play CSS now and then, but, since I'm a boring person, it's usually Dust/Office 24/7, with some Surf and Jailbreak if I'm playing with friends.

 

That's the thing I like about FPSs, they never change. :3
