Ibis worth it?

Hello again,

 

I am wondering Ibis would be useful for fishing rocktails with its fishing boost.

 

I am currently almost 98 fishing, and I am wondering if it could help me, or should I just keep fishing without one.

Depends on how close you are to 56 summoning and whether or not you're going to continue fishing after 99.

Use it. The fish it gather will more then pay for the cost of the pouch, and it will also help you a little bit. Its also better then not using a familiar at all.

If you don't have the Summoning level required, or are not close, then don't bother. It's nice if you have it, but not something to work towards.

Fishing familiars are definitely worth using. They are cheap to make, speed up fishing and forage fish as well.

Don't go out of your way to get it unless you plan on fishing past 13,034,000 xp. :thumbup:

Why do you need 72? Ibis is at 56 and the best fishing familiar, the granite lobster, is at 74. Ibis is better then nothing.

It's not. The extra money you'd make from a Magpie makes the Ibis the worse option. Magpies get you about 80-100k/hr just from what it Forages. It's pretty random, but I've noticed an average of 40k-50k per pouch.

 

So there's no point in getting maybe 1k extra xp per hour and about 10 raw swordfish or something when you can have 100k in your pocket.

This. I might use a G Lob though as you get way more sharks.
