Adaptivation
Hello, Can one prayer flash Turmoil to save prayer points? I plan on using Turmoil with my Godsword at Tormented Demons. I realize there is an activation animation...does this prevent efficient prayer flashing? Thanks for any help
Aiel
you cant do it efficiently because it doesn't get the full potential until the second hit with it activated. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Thanks for any help you must attack the opponent or it must attack you for the percent bonus which takes into account their levels to apply to your boost. until then, you just get the 15% or whatever to attack and defence and the twenty-something percent to strength. so i would say, you can flash it but it will be significantly worse than piety
Adaptivation
So then is it even worth it to use Ancient Curses at TDs? I flash Piety and Eagle eye with great results at the moment.
Assume Nothing
As others have said, it would take at least 1 round of combat before the full boost is activated, therefore it is advised that you should just keep it on whilst ranging and switch to melee. However; I have no experience of Tormented Demons so I'll have no idea. But Turmoil is slow draining anyways, so I don't see what's wrong with keeping it on. TheAncient
So then is it even worth it to use Ancient Curses at TDs? I flash Piety and Eagle eye with great results at the moment. A lot of people just leave turmoil on and don't bother switching to leech range. If you have turmoil, you also have soul split. Try out soul splitting TD's. The trick is to switch prayers until they attack you with melee, and then turn and keep on soul split. Their melee attack is pretty inaccurate. Benefits of using Ancient Curses (with SS and Turmoil)-- Don't have to switch protection prayers-- Don't have to switch attack prayers-- If you have a Steel Titan (and only steel works, iron is melee based), combined with SS+Turmoil (no switching), you have the best method of killing TD's. Let the titan take care of the range portion while you melee.-- TD's become very easy to do (slighly more attention-intensive than, say, slayer) Drawbacks-- Drain ppoints more quickly-- Still need some alternative sources of healing (OL+Brew / EE / SGS)-- Slightly more dangerous Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items?
