Mining methods before living rocks

Featured Replies

Well I wanna get my mining up

1. Because it's one of my worst skills (worst ranked)

2. Because I feel like it right now and

3. I want to be able to mine at the living rock caverns

So my question is, what should I do to train it?

I know about granite and I'm not really interested in it at the moment, it's really boring to train. What other alternatives are there?

I'm currently 70 mining just so you know.

Also if someone could give me some info on training mining in the living rock caverns I'd appreciate that too, I'm kinda clueless when it comes to mining.

I've also been wondering about this since I hate granite, but I don't think there is any other option other than powermining iron D:

kyatt iron, gem rocks, or gold ore/addy ore in keldi are my favorites.

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Is there any more info you could share on them?

Mainly keldagrim. (sp?)

For keldi I use the north spot, thats unlocked after the latest dwarf quest. Bring the best mining familiar you have, varrock armor 2+ if you have it, and the rest of your invent open. It might be worth it to invest in a D pick, and 83 summ for a lava titan. Pretty simple, bank in keldigram bank a few squares away, and repeat. If your in a low spawn world or get lucky you'll have time to mine one or two addy ores in between the 8 gold ores spawning.

Thanks, I might try it out. :)

If you do not like to mine, use the horn from Barbarian Assault should speed things up significantly. And it is not very difficult to fill either.

When I want to train I alternate barbarian assault, fast stealing creation, stars and mining + superheating in the mining guild. The boosts from the SC tools and the BA horn are nice considering they are more fun to get then grinding away clicking those rocks.

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.
