well i am level 62 magic at the moment and i wanted to raise it but while making at the same time. At the moment i am mining iron and coal in falador at using superheat, then selling the bars.

Is this the way to go? and also what is the best item to high alch on F2p?

Hey, I wouldn't use High Alchemy for Magicxp at all.

You can simply buy ores, and depending on your level and the current G/E prices,

you can make money by superheating steel, mithril, adamantite and runite bars!

 

It's decent experience and you will get some good to very good smithing experience along the road.

If you want the very best magic xp, and care less about losing cash, then superheating iron is the way to go! :) (up to 140k xp / hour )

 

If you have the best possible bank & inventory setup, you should be able to reach following exp rates:

- Adamantite - 60k smith & 84.8k magic xp / hour

- Runite - 70k smith & 74.2k magic xp / hour

- Iron - 32.5k smith & 137.8k magic xp / hour

 

I haven't tried mithril & steel recently, But steel & mithril should both give more magic xp per hour than adamantite, but less than iron.

I do want to add that these xp-rates are only in the best conditions, you may find yourself getting less experience, that's normal. :rolleyes:

Seriously? 137k magic xp hour? thats 2600 superheats an hour

And i dont know how your getting those numbers, you must be EXTREMELY concentrated or something.

Here are some more reasonable rates if you multi-task (watch tv/ browse forums)

iron, ~84k per hour

steel ~65k per hour

mithril ~55k hour

adamant Probably less than mithril.

Fist of guthix and sell the rewards is decent. Its slow but makes up for it in funness which is what a game is all about. Tele grabbing Wine of Zamorak while alching is good too.

Yes I know, I play rather focussed! :blink:

I also mentioned that these xp rates were in the best conditions and that it was normal to reach less. :razz:

I superheated all of my magic xp (44M+) and about half my smithing xp (70M+). I got so used to heating bars & having the perfect setup that I can almost do it with my eyes closed. :geek:

But those 137k xp are really possible. ;)
