kingmickez25 Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Well I haven't done barrows and i wanted to start redoing my problem is i dont quite remember what my set up was and am asking whats the best set up to do it at my level from what i remember I used Torags plate and chestHelm of nezFuryWhip/dds/excalibur.Dragon bootsRing of life Monkfish spade and prayer potions, as well as fally shield 3 and maybe a super set I would go Dhorak pray go karil dds half way thru speacil bar finish my prayer off at ahrimthen no pray torag verca and guthans? The excalibur is to heal as well as raise defense with speacil when neededFally shield is for a full charge of free prayer Anyone think this is efficant? or is there a better way Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
My_Eggs Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Ice blitz the melee bros, shouldn't take any damage from them other than if they get a lucky first swing when they spawn. DDS spec Karil, then whip him if hes still alive after your specs (pray range and piety on him). Use leftover prayer on Ahrim, just whip him. With this set-up I can get 40-50 chests a trip, or just until I get bored/ fill my pack with barrows items EDIT: Forgot to mention, use guthans to heal up in tunnels if you end up taking damage from Ahrim, or end up with a pesky tunnel bro who hits a lot. (I don't bother to waste another dose of prayer potion if I get Karil or Ahrim in the tunnels, I just tank the damage and heal up with guthans afterwards.) EDIT2: Also, you can swap the ring for whatever really. I was just poor at the time when I took this pic so I couldn't afford to pick up a better ring. Generally I'd opt for a Zerker Ring to help the damage on your DDS specs. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving.
