In the guide for the fishing contest the level for wolves is incorrect:

 

Bank

Required: spade Suggested: armour, food to pass by wolves (level 25 to 73)

and guard dogs (level 44)

2: Red vine worms Bring a spade. Go west over White Wolf Mountain (watch out for level 25 to 73 wolves)

 

It should say level 25 to 37.

Just a typo, but saying they have to get past monsters of that level would put of a lot of low level players!

Have they removed the Big Wolf from White Wolf Mountain then - I'd always presumed it's referring to that rather than a typo?

Oops! How come iv never seen it in 6 years!?

There is only the one, and it has a fairly odd roam area. It can be around the glider itself, but it also strays northwards toward the ice Queen lair's entrance and beyond where players rarely travel and again fairly far westward of the glider where players dont tend to stray. Equally it has a fairly slow respawn rate. So between its roaming and the odd player killing it you often won't see it as you cross the mountain, especially if others are doing so at the same time.
