I am finally going to do dt and i was wondering a few things. Do I really have to pray and use mage for the best results fighting the first boss. Also what att style does he use i cant seem to find it in the guide. A couple people told me to just not worry about praying and just use melee while wearing dhide because he uses magic according to them. All help is welcome =]. Stats in sig

Since in dt you can hunt the diamonds and thus face the bosses in any order you desire, saying "the first boss" in no way enlightens us to who you mean.

As for the bosses, they are all substantial weak to magic of a specific type.

Fire spells own the ice guy

Water owns the smoke guy

Air pwns shadow

Earth kicks blood

Shadow guy however is often easier to melee, especially on 2nd form.

Blood guy is probably the most tricky cause of his assorted damage types that seem to hit you hard-ish no matter what.

Ice n Smoke r push overs with mage

I was thinking of the order they went in the quest guide my bad. I would really rather stray away from mage and just use melee is it possible to use melee on all of them? And i still dont know if i should really use prayer =/

It is possible, but rather suicidal.

Meleeing smoke dude takes a far bit of effort, he has high def. Where as u can like 3 hit him with mage.

Ice people freeze you in place and move away, plus have decent range defence; meaning melee u die b4 u get kill so mage is a must really.

And yes you use prayer, all 4 bosses have 2 attack types; atleast 1 of which can be knocked out with prayer. thus making them substancially easier

I seem to recall Damis (the shadow guy) being the only tough fight with flat 70s, and that was because he drained pray.

Honestly, just go in and walk over them. You have the stats.
