I think this is the place to post about an inaccuracy in this description. my apologies if it is not.

 

The tip.it guide states that it is required to have a "Dramen/Lunar staff" this will be to be able to use the fairy rings. however the fairy wand (also required for this section) can be used to use the fairy rings.
