I've used the prayer method on my 1 Defense pure, however, I want to get my Ranged up on my main, so what would be my best option?

I have 26M, 80 Ranged, 74 Magic 44 Prayer, 16 Summoning, 75 Constitution, and 60 Defence.

you can do fine with 60 defense at aviansies

Use:

Rune C'bow

Broad bolts

Saradomin coif

Zamorak Vambs

Black dhide body

Dragon Skirt or legs

Granite or obby shield

Snakeskin boots

Ava's Accumulator

Fury/Glory

Archer Ring (gives you back some range bonus that you lose to the shield)

And bones to peaches tabs

 

 

 

And you probably should have just asked a mod to move your old one. Maybe you should get them to lock the old one now.

Although, I remember taking a Summoning Imbuned Neitznot helmet and having something else for Saradomin. I think I used the holy symbol because it helped extend my trip (added prayer bonus) a lot more because I didn't need bonuses from glory (couldn't afford fury).

 

Definitely get Dragon Skirt, a lot cheaper, same stats.

Don't forget a fire staff and natures to alch some drops unless you don't care about money for some reason.

I would recommend getting to 55 slayer for broad bolts. It really won't take that long, plus you can train some defense/range while slaying which will help out at av's.

Haha thanks, I used glory cause of the +10 range bonus. Didn't need the holy symbol cause I was tanking, not praying. After I made like 6m from it tho, I switched to sara dhide body and arma helm. I went from 70-87 range there.
