Well I know this is not a very new idea. But I think It would

 

 

 

be cool If runescape had races other than Human like alolt of other MMORPGs have. Personally I think it would be awsome if my character was a night elf. Possibly different races could have different atvantages like dwarves could automatically have +1 mining, or smithing. Or elves could have +1 attack speed. Also you could go to the makeover mage to change your characters race.

your races no some of those races are taken from other games, you need to take from runescape like goblins, dwarfs, pirates, ice, fire, water, earth, but im fine with just humans :lol:

Runescape simply isn't the type to have multiple races. However, if you really want some:

i think that if that idea were to take effect the most it would go to was how your character looks... such as i am a night elf.. yay? i look different.. and maybe a town for only that class.. but as far as adding advantages and disadvantages... i doubt that very seriously

Isn't that a big of a contradiction?

yeah... I thought you said looks only, no abilities?

i remember reading...somewhere...that only elves can enter tirannwyn (or was it prifdinas?). Perhaps choosing elf as a race would let you enter?

that would take very very much space and the loading of runescape would be increased with many minutes, it would be impossible to log in for dial-up users.

its to much problems and takes to much time and computer memory...

I think some games where you can be different races are great, but not for runescape. Some reason I think runescape is better when you are just humans, it also makes it less like other games.

like the wise person said it should be races already in the game.... adding other races....that aren't really in the game that you can just play... well no that doesn't make much sence
