May 16, 201016 yr I am posting here because oh shocking tech forums suck on Runescape. Anyway, anytime I move (WITH RUN ON) my player when i stop the screen just shakes (WALK IS OK) I don't no if it's supposed to do this or I'm just crazy. But it's really annoying I had a old computer crashed now it started on there since I was getting a new computer anyway I thought it would fix it but i thought wrong. Before you no it was ok on full screen was manageable but now Jagex made some new HD and it moves just like it does on reziable Stuff i tried: -20 million different types of browsers like (IE, chrome, the rs desktop thing, i use Firefox anyways.)-New graphics driver updates thought for sure that would do it but no.That's why i don't think it's lag but hey i could be wrong. Now anytime I go on freaking screen has 50 million lines wavy on my screen (No 75 hertz is not any better) So for the love of God somebody helps me im going insane i want to play and have fun but this is not possible with how annoying this is Thanks
May 16, 201016 yr I know this might be a pretty straightforward question... -Have you tried playing in Safe Mode with all the graphics to the lowest?-Have you tried updating your Java?
May 16, 201016 yr Author Oh i forgot to mention that? Lowest settings even in safe mode doesn't do anything
May 16, 201016 yr Do you have Version 6 Update 20? Java Link (auto detects Java Version):http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1
May 16, 201016 yr Author Yep Even the other version update I had.....it dont work i really wish i would
May 17, 201016 yr What is the new computer you got? It might not have the spec requirements to play rs...
May 17, 201016 yr Author IT plays rs......... I can go on full settings.... Im sorry but these are stupid questions!
May 17, 201016 yr If you don't like them, then try and figure it out on your own. They're basic questions that should be asked to make sure something isn't skipped (like how someone might ask why something isn't working and someone else asks, is it plugged in?). It seems like there maybe something wrong with your internet. Since it was happening to both of your computers. It might be you're computer thats having issues and not RS. Make sure there isn't ne thing that could be running in the back ground to make it do that. May 18, 201016 yr Author I clearly said I could play Runescape, Im sorry but thats a really stupid question and apparently i have to figure it out by myself because no one nos what the hell im talking about.
May 18, 201016 yr Please try and stay calm. These are "Open Ended Questions", when dealing with computers and fixing them, the staff of a shop asks these questions so that they can narrow down what might be the problem. (Ignoring the fact were on Tip.It, not a Shop) Dunno if its asked, but did you try lowering the CPU usage in Runescape? There might be a possibility that the Runescape applet is eating up all your computers resources (spare power). Also, try running the "Re-Run Auto Setup", though from personal experience it doesn't always help.Could be the PC though, mine will not run anything below HD mode, even in safe mode it will lag, and it was the same for my old PC, actually how old is your current PC? Popoto.~<3
