gonadzz
Just in a few hours I made that and my current sig, what do you think? Can I make it in the sig business? Oh yeah, and what's the deal with all these pixel sigs? When did they get so big? :?
Sy_Accursed
Pixel have pretty muhc alwasy been big. They look good in many opnions and are great for chracterising specificly to you. Lots turn up here as 'noobs' (please not the inverted commas) who can't get the money to buy them try making them, even if they are largely 1 hit wonders or quite poor quality. If you actual hang around for a while you will see who the proper pixellers are as they turn up alot and there are only like 5 or 6 of them (people such as terly, aperson, godslayer and if u want to stretch it me and smellysocks) But anyway back on subject that looks quite nice althouhg i would guess (no knowledge in that type of sig) that if that took you hours you won't be majorly success full as your supply will be slow compared with demand But we all got to start somewhere... gonadzz
Two years ago I remember GSW and Witty on the forum tip.it 'scapeboard' making abstract sigs and 3d sigs and I don't think there were any pixel signatures, that's just one of the reasons I'm so baffled now that I've come back to the forums as to why EVERY signature is pixel. I have never done a pixel work but I can only imagine the time and skill that goes into each and every piece. Which is most likely the reason everybody wants one. I'm just hoping there's still room for the 3d and abstract signatures. I love the pixel signatures and I hope to someday try one out.

Well mate, you're right on the only a few good ones. But you've seem to have left a few out, TJ, MXM, Neo (Only does one in a great while but awesome quality), myself (I don't post my work much but I can surely go toe to toe with many of the best), there's also Princess who rarely posts anymore, Adolpha was awesome, Shaw was a good one as well, and Scarlet Elv (Punkage) was down right good too. Shaw, Princess, Adolpha, and Punkage are inactive, but were nonetheless great. As it comes down to it, all of us have room to improve. There is no, "final stage: awesome god pixeler," you can always get better, it's just a matter if you take the time to do it or not. OT: Gonadzz, I like the way the sig looks, it's great. Just the colors is what makes me go "Blah." Your composition is great, you've got a good idea of abstract and brushing, now just change those colors and put some nice text on there. Sy_Accursed
See I am still relatively new to this board so don't know thoose old or inactive ones and i don't think I have seen any of your work but the constant improving thing is true of any sig type for the work I mean things like d-hide and brown terrain and bg characters in my current sig were largely guess work and definately will improve (hopefully) next time And I'msure other styles can also improve in things such as colour slection etc Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Qazer
Two years ago I remember GSW and Witty on the forum tip.it 'scapeboard' Oh god, i didnt think there was anyone els here that was from scapeboard lol. Only a few people actualy take time and put effort into pixil signatures, if your not gonna put in the time in effort please dont make a medeocre(at best) pixil sig =/. I only just came back, and i also hope that abstracts are still accepted. (I hope anyone with talent is still here aswell)
yonman14
Not to flame or anything, but your current sig is a direct tutorial from good-tutorials.com. I think as a general rule it's good to use tuts as the base for sigs, and then use your own creativity from there. Plus, you can not follow the tuts exactly, and come up with your own creative result. Still, both the sigs look nice.

I'm sorry, but no, no its not... its a render with brushing, dodging burning bluring, hue/sat changed curves a whole **** load of things thats about 55 layers, think again please... i havnt used tutorials in a long time, sorry. *Edit 1* (Actualy it might be completely done in ps, no render, give me a min ill look through the layers.) **Edit 2** It was all done in ps, no render, just brushing and stuff (only filter is gaus blur)

Notice that I'm not accusing him of anything though, just saying that it's a tut, and is just like a first step onto what could be a great sig. I do realize that there is some brushing down at the bottom, however I still think that there isn't enough going on that isn't from the tut. Good work though. gonadzz
I think Qazer thought you were talking about his sig. Yeah, I made my current sig with a tutorial, I didn't mean to make it seem like I did it all myself. However, the blue and pink one I made just from messing around with brushes and what not. That's why I said they both only took a short time. I'm going to change the colors around right now and post it. EDIT: Here's the sigs...

Miss a lot of the great artists from back then  Good to see some still around. As for the sigs I really like the blue one, its pretty nice although i mainly just see tutorials in the sigs, Perhaps give it a little more practice and I think ud do great with a shop on boards.
