May 18, 201016 yr hi, while slaying with my whip, i realized that i needed a good spec weapon, now i have EE and dds but i'm looking to buy some claws, point is i now have 38m cash on my bank, so i can buy them but that would kind of ruin my bank <_< so now my question: are d-claws worth the 35m just for the spec? May 18, 201016 yr if you plan to to for 99 slayer, claws are a tool you'll love to have. I just ended that skill and used claws in my last two levelsWhy are they awesome ? Simply because nowadays, you don't need spec weapon to heal all the time with either bunyip or unicorn. So instead of wasting spec, you can have 'instant kill' a few times in each tasks.That is for the 'go'. Now though, if you have to clear your cash to get them i'd say don't ! But there are two player schools : 1- those who clear their bank to get an item and rush to get some wealth back. If everything goes well, they are the fastest.2- those how keep some wealth over the items they buy. They are slower but can afford some errors.I am in the seconds so i'd say : don't clear your bank for claws. i can be simply too early. When i mentionned 'instant kill' i did it right with higher levels though (turmoil + super pure set + claws spec = 1hit KO on gargoyle/greater deamon and surch, and very fast kill on higher ones).Since claws are 50% spec, you get 'instant kills' every 7-10 kills witch are worth it on the long term (nice time spared). Oh baby light the dark side...
