teenageloser33 Posted November 25, 2005 Share Posted November 25, 2005 This has been a problem before, please once again, PM the owner of the signatures that are getting ripped and please contact one of the forum Admins from our forums (TIF) and an Admin from the forums where the illegal use of these sigs is happening. Don't make topics like this, we can easily clear up the problem through a few simple PM's. If the Admins of the forums refuse to do anything about there members breaking copyright laws, we can take legal action. PM's work better, topics like these are not neccessary. The main is being the signatures that were ripped. Thus you will also need to contact MisterXMan to confirm that he did not sell to these people. Once you've done this, it's in there hands. Nothing else you can do. Thanks for bringing it up to our attention though, it'll help. There are a lot of sites though that have "Selling Account Forums" most die out, but if you go on Ebay and type in Runescape, people sell accounts, gp, anything related to RS on there. Tipit censors the site name but through contacts I found the site where these rippings are going on. Just as I predicted, there's already people telling the idiot that all the sigs are already sold/owned to other people and made by me. He hasn't sold any of them and his rips are horrible quality. There's a few sigs that aren't mine, so if anyone wants the link to the forum (safe/checked/tpit style), I'll reply it through MSN. Had you thoroughly read the topic, you would have noticed that everyone there was calling him a noob for selling someone elses signatures. The only reason I didn't ban him was because he seems to have disappeared. (also keep in mind that I shouldn't be banned for the above statement. I am there for the community. Just like this placce, I come here for this section. I don't play rs very much but I do enjoy runescape related culture.) If you'd like to make sure he doesn't cause any trouble here, this is his ip 65.101.58.214 I've now banned him and deleted the topic in question. It's apparently really good money to advertise that kind of thing *gag* He has to pay a lot for hosting, because its hosted in some asian country. Plus that site is quite large too.
