Went away for a week, last update I was here for was ftp3...

 

Came back, and everything in my invent was totally different. Pots looked different (had at least one of each dose because I was at fiends), Yip scrolls looked different, even my nezzy looked different when it was under the equipment screen! :o

 

Am I seeing things, or was there an unnanounced change?

 

I'd really like to know, because there was over 9000 updates this last week and I didn't read them all...:(

 

Also, props to anyone who could do a quick glass-over of what happened this last week.

As most of you have noticed, some inventory items are looking a little “warped” and “tatty”; don’t worry, this was not a deliberate change!

 

Basically, the problem is that our models have been increased in size due to the resolution changes, and the compression acting on the icons to reduce their size is now acting slightly differently.

 

Unfortunately, there’s a little more to it than just changing a setting, so our Graphics Team will have to fix the items individually. So here’s where we would like your help to let us know about the critically damaged items.

 

The obvious items are:

 

• Teleport Tablets

• Lava Battlestaff

• Runes

• Vials/Potions

• Crystal Bow

• Partyhats

 

Please, don’t reply to this thread with “all of them need fixing!” as that won’t be helpful as we will be working on a priority basis.

I"m going to take a break for about 6 months/a year, and i'm looking for a decent ecenomic forecast. I've got about 40m in pure cash, 15m in membs items (f2p atm >_>).

 

I expect D bones to top out at about 5.7k/bone, herby to remain at about 26gp/exp, Bandos pieces to max at 25m per, claws at 35m, bgs at 24m, ags at 93m, ect...

 

Basically, what's the best thing to do with what i've got now, investing in f2p objects? (Santas are so being manipulated...they're never coming down again. :| I'd love one, but they're like 120m...>_>)

If we could look into the future our lives would be somewhat perfect. But I'd suggest investing in furies or getting smithing up before leaving since there is supposed to be a smithing update coming up. If it was my choice of leaving i'd just blow the cash on a skill or keep my basic gear.

Smithing with no bank space in f2p's gonna be pretty hard...Dunno if it'd be any good, can't think of anything obvious for smithing that would make it the new herblore/prayer.
