This is a step-by-step breakdown of how to do the puzzle in the quest.

 

When on the top-down view of the puzzle, the levers are assigned numbers and letter like this:

Go upstairs, insert bar (if not done so yet), pull lever, push button, pull lever, take out bar, insert second primed bar, go back downstairs

I think I'll use this to complete it, RS Wiki's been vandalised twice now and I've failed twice. I have both pieces down and unlimited moves. I've made one bar and I *think* I've dropped the tower for a second time. Where do I take off?

You'd have to provide a screenshot to be given the exact moves you need. If you have unlimited moves, though, the difficulty of the puzzle lessens significantly. Think of it as being like the puzzle boxes from treasure trail clues. At this point, you would need to charge the tower and raise it again, if you've remembered correctly.

ok i beat the quest but now for some reason im at the spot in picture and i cant figure out wat to do now since i want to make a body sheild and helm
